- Church Historical Celebration! ALL WOMEN, including our youngest, will be honored as we observe our 170^th Church Historical Celebration. Theme: “Celebrating 170 Years of God’s Faithfulness: Rooted in Purpose and Rising in Hope” – Preacher: Rev. Janice Crawford.
  - The attire is white with any color fascinator (hat) and gloves. Please line up in the W.T. Crutcher Fellowship Hall by 10:15 a.m. to get your corsage. Pictures will be taken during dinner, following morning worship.
  - Volunteers Needed – Task: Putting on Chair Covers
    - Schedule – Friday, 11/14: 12 noon – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11/15: 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

KNOXVILLE OPERA GOES TO CHURCH
- Join us next Sunday, November 16^th@ 5:00 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 201 3rd Avenue, for an evening of praise, power, and partnership, bringing together the rich tradition of opera and gospel in a soul-stirring concert featuring the Knoxville Opera Gospel Choir. To reserve your free tickets, utilize the QR code on the flyer located on the table in the Narthex.
Poinsettias Are Coming Soon!
- Order forms for poinsettias will be available on the table in the Narthex beginning next Sunday November 16^th. Order forms should be submitted on the 23^rd and 30^th of November. The cost will be $12/two blooms. Poinsettias are for those who place orders.
Announcements and prayer requests may be sent to the Church’s email or called in by noon on Thursday, for publication in the upcoming bulletin. Because the PowerPoint slides are prepared according to the submitted bulletin announcements, please make every effort to submit any announcements by Thursday at noon. Note: All announcements are subject to editing.
MUSIC MINISTRY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES – The Music Ministry continues to search for a drummer and a bass player to accompany the choir. Those interested may call the Church office and leave your contact information or contact Jeanie Melton, Pof Music, at jtmelt@aol.com.
